After the invasion, the damage was terrible Veracruz April 1914, the US Troops did take my town, my grandmother said that one of my grand uncles past away in the defense of the Port, he was only 15 yo, on the other pictures the Cadet Jose Azueta, injured about to die, this hero denied the medical attention from a US Doctor, he refused and rather to die, he received more than 12 impacts all over his body, he was only 20 years old and just graduated of the Navy School 1914 Generation
In order of give these heroes a Post Morten Memorial, the Mexican and US governments build monuments and they are remembered and honored with all both nations memories.
